Altitude: 4,000 - 6,000 Feet ASL (SHG)

Growing: Shade-Grown, Protecting Native and Migratory Birds.

Process: Semi-Washed (Red Honey), sun dried on raised beds

This outstanding  and unique single source Micro-Lot coffee, produced in Marcala, Honduras. Collected from the Garcia’s and the Urquia’s families. No honey is used in the process. The coffee cherry come to the wet mill where the pulp is separated from the beans. The beans are cover with mucilage, what we call honey. The beans are dry with the mucilage on it. The sugar left from the mucilage impacts the flavor of roasted beans and give the sweetness of the brewed.

Coffee Features: It has a distinct sweetness, slight milk chocolate, black cherry and plum,  fruit notes and a sweet acidity aftertaste.
